Suya is a spicy meat skewer, a West African Street food staple enjoyed by everyone.The pre-blended spice mix takes out all the stress and guessing of the right blend of spices to achieve that authentic and delicious flavor.
*Soak the skewers in cold water for about 30 mins to prevent charring in the oven.
2 pounds Thinly cut sirloin steak
1/3 cup of Homefresh Suya powder
-Heat the oven to 450°F.
-Wash and paper dry the steak, cut into thin and small slices
-Combine the sirloin steak and Suya spice in a bowl and sprinkle a little bit of water to make the powder into a paste.
-Rub together and let it marinate for an hour or even overnight.
-Thread as many as possible steaks onto the skewers and place onto a foil covered baking pan
-Bake for like 15-20mins
-Serve warm with some sliced onion, tomatoes, peppers and cabbage slaw.
